Playful

This quilt is 48 x 48 and made with a jelly roll of Thimbleberries "Play Date" fabric. I cut the strips last night and then tonight I assembled it. It was a quick and easy project...now to sandwich and quilt it. Seems I've been asked for quite a few baby quilts lately so I thought I'd make a few to have on hand when they're needed.

What's everyone doing for the holiday weekend?

We leave around noon tomorrow (Sat) to take my youngest to college up in Rhode Island. It's a long boring ride from NJ so I have some woolfelt pincushions cut for buttonholing, a book, and thanks to Vickie, I have the new QUILT SAMPLER to read and browse while riding in the car.

Stay safe and enjoy the weekend. I'll be back Sunday night.

Great idea to make some simple baby quilts to keep on hand. This one you showed today sure looks quick to make. Have a safe trip to RI and back. NOT fun to do that trip on Labor Day weekend, either...UGH....
