I was looking to assemble a quick and easy top the other day and I wanted something in light flowery colors. I immediately went to my 30's drawers and pulled out a couple of bags of blocks and settled on the bag of kona white and 30's since I had enough blocks to arrange them 7 across by 10 down....which, after I add a thin border and then a nice size piano key border, will make a nice single size throw.
After I got it pretty much assembled I thought that maybe I should have put strips in between each block but I was looking for QUICK AND EASY and that would have made for way too much work. I would like to have this done and to the quilter by the time the month is over.
I do have to say though, the quilt is much cuter in person, for some reason the blocks look a little washed out in this picture, and they really aren't....

wow -- I'm not much for '30's, but that is pretty cute! I especially like the spiral block near the middle. I was trying to remember if I might have been in any of those swaps with you, but since I can barely remember last week...
I love it, looks really good....quick and easy...
Super-cute so far Peg!
That is one adorable quilt. It's wonderful.
This is the perfect quilt for spring and with the way the weather is see-sawing back and forth, you still have time to finish it before any spring weather actually gets here to STAY. LOL
I love this without sashings, Peg. They not only would have made too much work, but it would have increased the size beyond a single throw. Can't wait to see the piano border!
I think that turned out great without sashings...looks good to me!!
Congrats on another great quilt top! Love those 30's fabrics!!
That looks beautiful, Peggy! I love thirties!
