I didn't get as much sewn today as I'd have liked but I did get a block of the month done and I got the rick rack tacked down onto a cute tablerunner I made yesterday....
The blocks at the left are part of the 2009 Thimbleberries BOM.
I had to get month 2 done 'cause I'm sure month 3 is probably in the mail as we speak....
It was made from 1 charm pack and the kit came with the cute fat red rick rack for around the edges.
It will be perfect for the kitchen island....
I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup for dinner and got some fresh bagels so we're all set for a very cold night in New Jersey.
How was your day?

The runner turned out very cute......is the rick rack put on the back AFTER the binding? That's what it looks like...unless that is a very skinny outer border and the rick rack is between that and the backing fabric. I'm sure it will look very cute and cheery on your island. The soup sounds like a WONDERFUL choice for a meal in this weather!
Love the ME runner...the red rick-rack is soooo cute!
I also love the rick-rack touch on your table runner -- very pretty and the perfect complement to the retro-looking charm fabrics!
Congratulations on getting your BOM done before the next one arrives. I'm never good at that. ;)
Yep, I love the rick rack, too! Nice job! : )
I love soup on a cold night -- just can't beat a homemade soup supper! When do we eat?
