Back in January I assembled this quilt for my daughter. I have always wanted to make a black and white quilt but really wanted to add one other color just to add a little punch to it. Since I found a great fq bundle with turquoise in it that was what I used. I got it assembled and quilted and after a lot of setting it aside, I got the binding tacked down. Yesterday she was cleaning her apartment and decided it was the day to put it on her bed...and it looks great!

Fantastic quilt! Love it, love it, love it!!! The turquoise really works! I bet your daughter is thrilled with it -- she has SUCH a tidy room (I have a 16 y.o. boy so I don't need to describe HIS room!!). I'm working with black and white at present, with lots of brights thrown in - it's a baby quilt.... apparently babies can "see" black and white and bright colours first and they are supposed to be very stimulating!
Happy Sewing!
That is BEAUTIFUL!!!
That does look good Peggy! And those decorative pillows are the finishing touch.
Like the splash of color mixed with the black and white!
Great quilt...she must be thrilled!
I cannot picture this quilt without the turquoise color in it. It's the perfect complement!
Whoa! I love it! The turquoise really makes the quilt!
How do I get the pattern for this quilt?
