Well, New Years Eve brought the final instructions for the Quiltville http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2017/01/mystery-monday-link-up-part-6-7.html mystery.
I really LOVE how the final quilt is going to look so I'm excited to get working on all the units.
I got caught up working on my 2017 UFO list so I didn't exactly start working on step 6 & 7 of the mystery but that will be a priority this week.
Here are all the previous units waiting for my attention....
And here are the first 4 of 16 blocks for the center of the quilt............
We had a little snow this weekend............
At 5PM as I was getting ready to make dinner I ran outside and measured....8 inches! By the time we went to bed the final count was 10 inches...... Not bad for the first snowstorm of the year....and hopefully the LAST!
We did wake up to some bitter cold weather this morning.....EEK!
I'll be sewing at some point in time later today and hoping to make a small dent in my mystery....in the meantime, you should go and check out Bonnie's blog. Some girls have totally finished, and there's some serious eye candy over there........http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2017/01/mystery-monday-link-up-part-6-7.html
Stay warm if you're in the NY, NJ area!

Yay for Dr. Seuss fabric!
I've really been enjoying seeing everyone's progress with En Provence. (And I can't believe some have finished already!!)
And I'm saying Yay for the Dr Seuss fabric, too!
It's fun to see the blocks laid out without the sashing. I like it that way too! Wow! Lots of snow.
