I did unit 1 today, which is the upper left hand corner of the quilt.
The cutting of the unit was quite a challenge but once all the pieces were cut and laid out the assembly went very quick.
The background looks a little odd in this picture but it's really cute fabric with it looks like seagulls flying all around. Now I have to wait a whole month to get the next unit....

Sorry to hear about the loss of your previous blog. I love the new one you have up. Your quilt blocks are fabulous and I especially adore your pincushions. What a great collection you have.

This looks soooooooooooo hard!
I made this quilt last year and entered it in the Tulsa Quilters Show this year. I won a second place ribbon for it. I get more compliments for this quilt than any other that I have made. I highly recommend making it.
