All I can say is WOW....I cannot believe how long it took me to make this block today....This is Block # 3 for the All Roads Lead to the Sea BOM that I am doing with my local quilt shop. The block measures 17-1/2 X 33. This is going to be one HUGE quilt....

Although you and I have chatted by email a little bit about this project, for everyone else here's the scoop. My friend purchased the pattern and we are doing this quilt together using our stash fabrics rather than join it as a BOM. Peg said WOW, and she is right! It's a really BIG (literally) challenge, and it takes forever to make progress. I spent 3-4 hours yesterday on just 1/2 of the 2nd block. Cutting all the little pieces alone takes forever! I'm eager to watch Peg's progress, and it's neat that she's a bit ahead of us. Will give us a "head's up" as we go, I hope.
