Progress

I made a lot of progress on my "Quilter's Dozen Plus" project this week getting 3 sides of geese assembled and attached and with luck will have the next set of geese done tonight and sewn onto the background piece.

I did, however, finish all the blocks I needed for set 1 of the "Oh My Stars Swap" with some internet friends. I love how my blocks turned out and if you'd like to see Michelle's, hop on over to her blog and check her's out too...Her's are wonderful too!!! Now, we need to get Robin to post a picture of her blocks on her blog...

Now, let me tell you about some mailbox love....I was the very lucky recipient this week of quite a bit.....

First off, Michelle sent me a Quilt Sampler magazine that I couldn't get here in NJ and when she sent it to me she sent 3 really cute fat quarters that she picked out specifically because of my sunflower obsession.

Then, I was in a swap with some of the online girls and it was called "Three Four"...3-1/2 inch Four patch blocks. I did 6 sets of 8 blocks and this is my haul....got these today.

And lastly I got 2 blocks of the month that I wait for the 15th to get because they are my absolute favorite BOM's.... My Pint Size Traditions II kit which is called "Holly Lane" and also my Room by Room kit which is "Harvest Bounty". I'm anxious to cut into both but that will have to wait until most likely Sunday. In the meantime I need to finish a few things I started this week before I start cutting into new kits....

I still say, the men in brown and the us postal service are my hero's.....gotta love coming home
from a hard day at work to find "packages".....
