It's Starting To Take Shape

Yesterday I showed you the 2008 Thimbleberries blocks. I spent a little time last night working on the assembly of them so here's a picture of them taking shape.....

I'm going to start working on the other side tonight.....

We had a gorgeous day here today in NJ.... I'm wondering if Mother Nature noticed that it s December 28th? It hit 70!!! I had windows and doors open airing the house out. It's so nice that we're going to grill some burgers for dinner.....

How was your Sunday?

Sharing Peggy's enthusiasm for south Jersey weather today, it was incredible! We were supposed to get rain with the mild temps, but it never happened.
Beautiful Thimbleberries blocks, Peggy!. Will be watching for the final photo on this project.
I'm off to post the next chapter about my 30's quilt restoration. What I found inside this quilt was quite a surprise.

It looks wonderful...truly....

I live in American Samoa, we have our windows open all of the time. I love it. When home in Texas, my husband always wanted the windows and doors shut...so I am glad to be here with the light inside my home.

That is going to be so pretty, Peggy! It's been warm here, too. Well, warm for MN, anyway. I think it got up to 34 on Saturday! Wow!

It's looking good Peg. But hold on cause I have a feeling that 70 degree weather wont be there for long. So HUNKER DOWN!!!
