I did the parts to a table runner at retreat all in gold floss, which is super cute, I have a crow block of the month I'm doing with my friend Deb Smith's quilt shop in Missouri, I have 2 elf Christmas projects going and yesterday I got my kit for my newest block of the month called Berry Picking...it's a Crabapple Hill pattern. I hope I can keep them all straight.....This little elf has his string of lights wrapped around himself and I'm doing this one in a green variegated floss. The "Twas The Night Before Christmas" one here has larger embroidery pieces and I'm doing this one in all garnet red variegated floss. It was supposed to be a block of the month but I'm kind of an impatient annie so I wrote to the shop in Australia and she's mailing me the remaining 6 months of instructions so I can get them going quicker. Once school reopens I will have lots of time to do these stitcheries on lunch and break time.

It's good to keep ourselves excited with new types of projects. Most of what you are doing seems to have a Christmas theme so that gives you plenty of time. I love the elf! I have some new things to show too, but my husband is traveling with my camera until next week.
Lol* Nothing wrong with that! :) I like embroidery too...it's fun because it doesn't take as much concentration to achieve a pleasant result. And my goodness how cute it looks combined with quilting! :)
I think your projects are very nice......good things to have as portable projects to pick up and work on for a half hour here or there.
Admitting you have an addiction is the first part of recovery :)
Seriously, it's nice to venture into new crafts. And you can use the embroidery with your quilting. Enjoy!
You do beautiful embroidery work, Peg!
Great job on the elves so far Peg!! If you find an "embroidery addicts anonymous" meeting to go to lemme know..I need to go too LOL
I've learned that I really like embroidery as well and it all started with those Truly Scrumptious girlies! I finished that but haven't started anything new and I miss the stitching!
All of your work is looking great and the elf is so cute!
