Cobblestones Update

Yeah, I'm moving slow on this but yesterday was one of those days where I got distracted at every turn. Here's a picture of the first 2 rows of this quilt. I really like how it looks so after I get a little New Years Eve cleanup done I'm going to go back in and assemble a few more rows.
So, what's everyone doing for tonight? Hubby and I are going to have dinner out and then go to a movie. We haven't decided on whether we're going to see Nine, Avatar, Sherlock Holmes, Up in the Air or The Blind Side. I like movies with a lot of music and dancing so I know I'd enjoy Nine. I think I'd be fine with seeing any one of the movies so once we eat we'll go to whichever one comes on next. How's that for scientific planning?
I hope everyone has a safe evening and a Happy 2010!
Peggy

Your quilt is looking wonderful. I am still battling this respiratory issue. I need some things at the grocery store and also have to go to the bank but will wait for hubby to get home so he can drop me right at each of the entrances. Then I will come home and get into clean pajamas, take more medicine, read a little bit and get to bed early....not a very exciting evening, but it's what I need to do so I can hopefully kick whatever has gotten hold of me. Enjoy the movie and please give a "review" on you blog, okay? Happy 2010 to you and your loved ones!

ohhh! the cobblestone is looking great. I'm enjoying seeing the progress you are making.

Tonight our family & many friends, gather at my sister's and have a big bonfire. We've done this for more abt 20 yrs. Rain, snow, lots of snow, warm, doesn't matter, there's a bonfire Linda & Brett's.

Enjoy your dinner & movie. Sounds nice too.

A slow day for you would be a banner day for me -- congrats, this is coming together very nicely!

Happy New Year Peggy. You should go for Blind Side. It was an awesome movie. Sandra Bullock was great.

The first 2 rows look fantastic!

We're having a quiet new years (with the exception of the neighbors who are setting of fire works to their throbbing music). My husband is going to a bowl game early tomorrow and I'll hopefully finish up in my new sewing room so I can actually sew!

My husband and I also went to dinner last night and to the movies. We saw Nine, only because The Blind Side and Up in the Air were sold out. I was disappointed, so much talent and no one really stood out. Will celebrate new years today by getting into my sewing room in between football games and the parade. Happy New Year. Betty Lou
