everyone has their sweet that's hard to keep your hands out of. find an alternative if necessary. sometimes it is at first - dried (unsweetened) fruit, fresh fruit... something naturally sweet - no added sugars or anything. play a game with yourself - whatever you find that works for you. for me it was substitution and a weekly reward (sometimes the sweet, usually $5 to spend on something fun). i bought a delicious candy bar on friday - i think i've had maybe 1/2 of it. that's another one - don't pay too much attention to how much of it you are eating, just savor it when you do.
No gain is good, Peg! You are on the right track...one day at a time!
Oooooh, M & M's! I keep telling myself, "Does this help me reach my goal?" If the answer is no, I should be strong enough to put it down. BUT I will admit that there have been a coupld of time when I've said, "No, but I don't care!" Bad, bad, bad!
No M&M's. NO!!!!!!!! Walk away!!
